Barbell Club

Inner City Barbell Club is part of Get Fit Central. It’s a club for those in Perth who want to lift weights, get strong, possibly compete in weightlifting or powerlifting comps and be trained by a qualified coach. This club will help you learn the correct techniques for strength and conditioning training, guiding you to lift heavier and better.

Barbell Club is on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 5.30pm – 7pm and Saturday at 10am – 11.30am. All skill levels are welcome in the class, from experienced lifters to first-timers keen to try the sport. The program is written up daily, so you can come and go at any time during Barbell Club knowing that a coach will be there to train and guide you. Friday Barbell club has more of a focus on powerlifting and strongman exercises, whilst all other days will have a focus on Olympic lifting and strength.

Also included in Barbell Club is our Olympic lifting tech classes. This is a 45 minute class that spends more time on lift techniques in a class format. We also offer Strength classes, a 45 minute class that focuses on powerlifting, bodybuilding and strongman exercises. We offer a different workout each time, focusing on getting you stronger with better form during every session.

Here at Get Fit Central, we’re proud registered members of Weightlifting WA. For those wanting to compete in weightlifting, speak to one of our qualified coaches and we’ll get you there.
